⚠️ Read Before Using
Use of GuardPay involves risks inherent to cryptocurrency technologies. You must fully understand these risks before commencing use.
1. Technological Risks
- Irreversibility of Transactions — any signed transaction on the TRON blockchain cannot be reversed
- Smart Contract — the code has been reviewed but may contain vulnerabilities
- TRON Network Failures — temporary delays are possible
- Contract Upgrades — GuardPay employs an upgradeable proxy contract
2. Financial Risks
- Loss of Wallet Access — if you lose your seed phrase, recovery may be impossible
- Address Error — a transfer to an incorrect address is irreversible
- Counterparty Good Faith — AI arbitration is available but outcomes depend on evidence
- USDT Stability — Tether USD may theoretically deviate from its $1 peg
3. Operational Risks
- Insufficient TRX for Gas — maintain at least 20–50 TRX
- Telegram Spam Filter — notifications may not be delivered
4. Regulatory and Jurisdictional Risks
The User is solely responsible for verifying the legality of using GuardPay in their jurisdiction. Responsibility for taxation rests exclusively with the User.
5. No Financial Advice
Nothing in GuardPay documentation constitutes financial, investment, or legal advice.
6. No Insurance
Funds deposited in the GuardPay smart contract are not insured by any government agency or deposit insurance fund (such as the FDIC). Cryptocurrency assets are not covered by such protection programs.
7. Limitation of GuardPay's Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GuardPay, its developers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from use of the service, User errors, counterparty actions, TRON blockchain failures, or legislative changes.
