In a GuardPay deal the money sits in a smart contract, not with the service: we can neither take it nor freeze it. Below — how to protect your wallet from what is not us: a leaked key, address-book poisoning, counterfeit USDT, spending approvals.
Rule #1: Seed Phrase
🔑 The most important rule in cryptocurrency
Your seed phrase (12-24 words) is the only way to recover your wallet. Lost your seed phrase = lost access forever.
- ✅ Write it on paper and store in a physically secure location
- ✅ Make multiple copies in different locations
- ✅ Consider metal engraving for long-term storage
- ❌ Never photograph your seed phrase
- ❌ Never store in the cloud (Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox)
- ❌ Never send to anyone — not "support", not friends
- ❌ Never enter on any website except your official wallet app
🚨 GuardPay never asks for your seed phrase
If anyone asks for your seed phrase "for GuardPay support" — they are a scammer. Stop communicating immediately.
Rule #2: Address Verification
For every transaction, verify the full address — not just the first and last characters.
- Scammers use addresses that look similar to the correct one (clipboard hijacking)
- Malware can replace addresses in your clipboard
- Always verify the address in your wallet after pasting
Rule #3: Approve
- Only approve the exact amount of the deal, never unlimited

🔒 Why your funds are safe
- The contract code is public — anyone can verify how it works through the TronScan blockchain explorer
- Transparent admin functions — all admin functions (used only for dispute resolution based on AI decisions) are publicly visible on the blockchain. Funds are transferred only to deal participants or to a charity fund based on AI arbitration results.
- Transparency — all contract operations are recorded on the blockchain and available for verification
- 5 AI Agents — in case of a dispute, a cascading panel of 5 independent AI agents (different models) joins. Each sees both parties' answers and evaluates independently. The decision is executed on-chain automatically after a 3-round appeal window (12+6+3 hours).
- Attack protection — the contract uses multiple layers of protection against known attack types
- Charity timeout — funds cannot be frozen forever: after 180 days of inactivity they go to charity
What GuardPay Can and Cannot Do
GuardPay is an interface, not a custodian. Here is a complete list of what the contract can and cannot do with your money.
