Questions

What is an approve and why is it dangerous?

It is a permission for a contract or wallet to take your tokens without a new signature. Exchanges ask for it to swap, and drainers ask for it to take everything. An unlimited approval to an unknown address is the main sign of theft through approve.

How much does a revoke cost?

A revoke is a transaction on the TRON network. A few TRX are burned for energy; we show the exact estimate before you sign. If your wallet has its own energy, there may be no fee.

Why can't I revoke everything with one signature?

TRON has no batch sending: each approval is a separate record in the token contract, and only the owner can change it with a signature. So it is one signature per approval.

Do I need to connect a wallet to check?

No. Checking works from the address. A wallet is needed only to revoke, and only the address's own wallet can be connected for that.

My tokens were already taken. What now?

First revoke the remaining approvals and move the balance to a new wallet. Then open a case on the recovery page: we trace where the funds went.

Fake “revoke” services

  • A revoke never needs your seed phrase, private key or a payment. Anyone who asks is a scammer.
  • Fake “revoke tools” put a new approval or a transfer in front of you to sign. Before signing, check in your wallet: an approve call and amount 0.
  • Do not follow “revoke now” links from messages. Open the page yourself.

What a revoke does not do

  • A revoke does not bring back tokens already taken: it only closes access from now on.
  • If your seed phrase or key was stolen, a revoke will not help: move the balance to a new wallet.
  • Approvals on other networks (Ethereum, BNB Chain) are revoked on those networks separately.
